Description: Trinity Episcopal School in Charlotte, North Carolina, is seeking a School Chaplain for the 2024-25 academic year.  As a member of the senior administrative team and reporting directly to the Head of School, the School Chaplain plays an instrumental role in creating and maintaining a community that is an expression of God’s love, caring, and nurturing of all of God’s children.  The School Chaplain tends to the spiritual life of the school and provides leadership in planning and delivering the liturgical life, faith studies classes, pastoral care, the service-learning program, and equity, justice, and belonging initiatives. The School Chaplain serves as an ambassador for the School’s Episcopal Identity, which focuses on supporting every child’s spiritual journey, fostering a sense of belonging in an inclusive school community, and instilling a love of neighbor focused on equity and justice. The School Chaplain leads the chaplain team, which includes a full-time lower school chaplain and a full-time music chaplain.  Trinity is an independent Episcopal school that is committed to the principles of Episcopal schools expressed in worship, religious formation, community life, and a dedication to the ideals of justice and equity.
